Okay... some things I am doing to green up my life & world:
1. Reusable menstrual prods
2. Cloth nappies
3. Wee rags
4. washable cleaning cloths/rags
5. Home made cleaning prods
6. Cold water machine washing
7. 5 min showers with no 'poo
8. Turned off the heated towel rail
9. Insulated the hotwater cylander
10. Recycle everything I can
11. Buy products that have less or no packaging
12. Use cloth shopping bags
13. Grow fruit & vege (I try!)
14. Insulation in roof & under floor
15. Good curtains
16. Star rated fridge etc
17. Energy efficient light bulbs
18. Use washing line not dryer (unless desperate)
19. Compost
20. 1/2 flush toilet and... if it's yellow, let in mellow ;)
21. Carpool for kindy run
22. Walk in village, to school tc
23. Do multiple errands once a week to reduce car use
24. Hardly ever hose garden
25. Reuse envelopes
26. Try to buy 2nd hand
27. Reduced exessive consumption of "stuff"
28. Trying to 'eat local'
29. Bulk buy non-perishables to reduce car use & packaging
30. Pass on kids clothes & toys no longer used
31. Dress me & kids in hand-me-downs
32. Eating less meat
33. Trying to buy organic/sustainable meat
34. Put water from washing machine onto garden
35. Put a 'No Junk Mail' sign on the letterbox
